ProTest and Interfaced Joint Roundtable at HSA Conference 2025

The University of Corvinus team of the ProTest project is contributing to the Annual Conference of the Hungarian Sociological Association (15–17 October). A joint roundtable of the ProTest and Interfaced projects will take place on 15 October at 17:30.

The 2025 Conference will focus on the causes and consequences of the dismantling of democratic institutions in Central and Eastern Europe. Democratic decline in the region is not solely a political phenomenon; it is closely linked to transformations in social structures, community relations, and civic participation. A central question of the conference is whether—and how—changes in social structures drive institutional change.
